Cra-Z-Art’s popular SoundMoovz and Nickelodeon Slime products were chosen as finalists for the coveted Toy of the Year (TOTY) award. The TOTY awards recognize the top toys of the holiday season. Though there are many toy award programs, the TOTY finalists have been nominated from within the industry and have been selected by industry influencers, academia, media and more. The TOTY Awards are frequently referred to as the “Oscars” of the industry. Finalists were chosen from over 600 submissions.
SoundMoovz is included in the “Tech Toy” category while Nickelodeon Slime is a finalist in the “Creative” category – consumers could vote for these great items by going to www.toyawards.org.
The winning toys will be announced in February 2018.
Company announces agreement to produce puzzles with iconic, sharp imagery of photo brand
Cra-Z-Art®, a prime manufacturer and leader in trendy toy, art and school supply products, announced today a strategic brand licensing agreement with Eastman Kodak Company to produce and distribute puzzles in the U.S. The puzzles will feature beautiful photo imagery and be available in various size piece counts from 100 to 2000.

Last year, Cra-Z-Art entered the puzzle category with the strategic acquisition of Lafayette Puzzle Factory, a leading manufacturer of artfully designed puzzles in the United States with offices in Indiana and Hong Kong. Established in 2008, they saw double-digit sales increases over the last few years. The deal provided Cra-Z-Art exposure in a rapidly growing toy segment. In fact, puzzles and games were one of the fastest growing categories last year, increasing by 18 percent per the NPD market research group.

Cra-Z-Art® Announces Licensing Deal For Nickelodeon Slime
Cra-Z-Art®, a prime manufacturer and leader in trendy toy, art and stationery products, announced today a strategic licensing agreement with Nickelodeon to market and distribute Slime kits in the U.S. The Slime kits, which will be branded Nickelodeon Slime, will include the ingredients needed for kids to make their own version of the network's iconic and beloved green goo. Available this March, Slime will also come in a variety of colors and textures, including glitter, neon, and glow in the dark.
Do-it-yourself slime has become a recent craze with kids and has spread virally via social media. Cra-Z-Art is known for discovering hot trends and quickly bringing quality products to market. Cra-Z-Art already produces components of Slime, including white and clear glue, in the US.

Lafayette is a leading manufacturer of puzzles in the United States with offices in Indiana and Hong Kong. They specialize in the artful design and marketing of various size puzzles, from 2,000 piece to 6 piece. The company was established in 2008 and has seen double digit sales increases over the last few years.

CRA-Z-ART LAUNCHES SQAND
Cra-Z-Art, a prime manufacturer and leader in trendy toy, art and stationery products, has launched Sqand in the U.S. and global markets. The item is out just in time for summer fun and has already seen strong sales.
Sqand allows kids to create, sculpt and display underwater scenes in a toy aquarium with specially formulated sand. Out of water, kids watch in amazement as the sand becomes magically dry. There are two different playsets as well as a refill kit, each sold separately.

The deal was done with Mum and Me Miniatures, based in Australia. The trending item has done extremely well in Europe and is expected to be a big seller in the U.S. and other regions as well.
Opening Fairy Doors allow children to create a beautiful fairlyland setting in their own bedroom and enjoy an exciting world of imaginative play. The realistic looking Doors are miniature in size and easily attach to a wall, allowing them to open and close. They come in a variety of different colors and include accessories such as a window, mailbox and fence.

The licensed product, for the U.S. and Canadian territories, will include stationery, art activities and puzzles. YO-KAI WATCH merchandise has done phenomenally well in Japan since it debuted in 2014, topping the region’s retail charts with over two billion dollars in sales within 18 months.
The compelling story of the Yo-kai (mysterious beings in Japanese folklore) centers around a young boy who gets a special watch. The watch empowers him to discover and summon the mischievous Yo-kai, helping solve problems in daily life.
