With no wildlife artists in his vicinity and lacking familial artistic lineage, he embarked on a self-taught journey at 14, delving into oil, acrylic, and occasional watercolor mediums. His pursuit of extreme photorealism stems from a desire to honor nature's intricate beauty. Often depicting utopia-like scenes, Hunter aims to evoke a sense of tranquility amidst life's complexities. His ultimate aspiration is to convey the profound awe he feels for God's creation, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the serene beauty of the natural world depicted in his paintings.

As an amateur guitar player with a passion for music, I often contemplate my hypothetical path in the realm of professional musicianship. If I were to pursue a career beyond my current amateur status, I envision myself as a studio session player, drawn to the behind-the-scenes craftsmanship and a dedication to excellence rather than seeking the limelight. Similarly, in my chosen career as an artist, I approach my craft with the same ethos of reliability and hard work, continually seeking to create something remarkable while embracing various artistic styles and learning from fellow creatives. Residing in New Jersey for most of my life, I am happily married with two grown children and blessed with an adorable granddaughter, cherishing the joys of family amidst my creative endeavors.
